Corporate website notice

This notice applies to yentumi.com. Yentumi ITC products and platforms may have separate privacy notices that apply when you use those services.

01

Scope and who we are

Yentumi ITC is an information technology company providing information technology consultancy, software development, computer hardware and digital solutions, ICT training and technical support. For personal information collected through this corporate website, Yentumi ITC determines why and how that information is used.

This notice explains the information we may collect when you visit the website, contact us or submit an enquiry, and how we handle that information.

02

Information we collect

We aim to collect only information relevant to the purpose for which it is provided. This may include:

  • Contact and enquiry information: your name, email address and the message you submit through our contact form.
  • Direct communications: information you choose to provide when you email or call us.
  • Technical and security information: standard server information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, error records and security events generated by our hosting environment.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, health information, learner records or other sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form unless we specifically ask for it through an appropriate secure process.

03

How we use information

We may use information collected through this website to:

  • respond to enquiries, requests for quotations, training enquiries and support requests;
  • communicate with you about a matter you have asked us to handle;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the corporate website;
  • prevent misuse, spam, fraud or unauthorised access; and
  • keep appropriate business records and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

Our handling of personal data is intended to reflect the principles in Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), including accountability, lawful and reasonable processing, purpose specification, openness, security safeguards and data-subject participation.

04

Cookies and technical data

The current Yentumi ITC corporate website does not intentionally deploy advertising trackers or analytics cookies in its website code. Our web server and hosting infrastructure may still create technical logs or use technologies necessary to deliver and protect the website.

If we later add analytics, advertising technologies or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and introduce any consent controls required for those technologies.

05

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal information submitted through this corporate website. Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary, including to service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, security or technical operations, or where disclosure is required by law or a lawful authority.

Some technology providers may process information outside Ghana. Where this occurs, we will seek to use appropriate contractual, organisational or technical safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.

06

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business record-keeping, to resolve disputes, or where a longer period is required by law or contract. Information that is no longer required should be deleted, securely destroyed or de-identified as appropriate.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we also encourage you to avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary website forms or email.

07

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and any relevant exceptions, you may have rights to ask whether we hold personal data about you, request access to that data, ask for inaccurate or inappropriate data to be corrected or deleted, and object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

To make a privacy request, email info@yentumi.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also raise concerns with Ghana's Data Protection Commission where appropriate.

08

Children and separate product sites

This corporate website is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please do not submit a child's identifying information through the general contact form.

Yentumi ITC products—including education and school platforms—may operate under separate product-specific privacy notices, terms and safeguards. Those notices apply to information processed within the relevant product.

09

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website, services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective and last-updated dates at the top of this page will show when the current version took effect.
